| 2016-05-06 08:12:00 | 0150 - Kirwan III, | A fire occurred inside of a trash can in the basement floor lounge area. The fire was reported to an RA who in turn called 911, pulled the alarm to evacuate the building, and utilized a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Damage limited to the trash can. |

Pull station initiated by witness and Lexington Fire Department, UKPD and PPD responded. Belt had seized inside washer causing overheat/smoke. Washing machine unplugged, mitigating the threat of fire. Damage limited to washing machine, no injuries. |

Occupant placed the trashcan on the balcony causing fire damage to area. Lexington Fire Dept. and UK Fire Marshal responded but fire was extinguished by occupant with water prior to arrival. Minor damage to balcony, no extension into residence and scene cleared by Lexington Fire. No injuries. |

There were no notifications regarding the fire, no emergency response. University Fire Marshal and Housing found out after the fact when occupant called maintenance to request a clean up of the oven after fire extinguisher use. No injuries. |

The flier was reported hung on August 11, 2017 and damage first noted August 15, 2017. Minimal damage to the protective tarp and no injuries. |

Fire occurred as a result of an extensive buildup of grease on floor and underneath stove and ignited by the oven. Lexington Fire responded along with University Fire Marshal and UKPD. No injuries or damage. |

The cause was electrical wires inside of box on second floor has shorted and melted. Lexington Fire responded and shut power off to facility. Electrician arrived and corrected the issue and then restored power to facility. No injuries or damage. |
